14/06/2008: New Test Types

IMAP, SMTP and MySQL tests are now supported (in versions 0.04.xx or later).

The IMAP test type will connect to an IMAP or POP3 mailbox, optionally using SSL and on the default or specified port, returning the time taken to open the mailbox.

The SMTP test connects to an SMTP server (on the default or specified port), issues a HELO, waits for a 220 and then issues a QUIT. It returns the time taken to complete this transaction.

There are two available types of MySQL connect - Time and Rows. For both types of test you can specify a hostname, user, password, optional database and optional query. If the database is specified a select_database is issued and if the query is specified it is executed (obviously the database must be specified as well for a query to execute). The rows test returns the number of rows returned or affected by a query (failing to specify a database or query will always return 0 rows) and the time test returns the time required to complete the test.

These new functions have been tested in a variety of environments and seem to be working well but please report any bugs found ASAP.
