07/06/2008: Mailing List 07/06/2008

Dear FreeNATTER,

I hope you are well and that this mail finds you and your network in good cheer!

There have been a number of updates to the website including a forum following user feedback. I'm not sure how popular this will be but it's there for support, discussion or just to hang out.

Version 0.03 is now available for developmental download and will soon be in general release. It includes a number of changes to the way timing works on ping tests (they will no longer include the time required to open a connection and send the packet) and http tests (using the PHP CURL library if available). This will reduce any time delay caused by PHP/the test server by 2-4ms. Thanks to Ole for the suggestions.

As always I welcome any suggestions, comments and bugs via the feedback link on the website or in the new forum.

Regards,

Dave.
